AirLands leans in close to share a light
flick, flicker…
and then reaches for the burning sun.
There are drums & vocals,
cello & guitars,
bass & French horn,
hope & chaos.

Some might call it chamber pop,
and yes, it’s sweeping and lush,
but sometimes the waves
build to windstorms, and sometimes
the ceiling disappears, and it soars.
There are more harmonies than shred.
But there’s a tiny bit of shred,
in a soft way.
We call it soft shred.

We call it soft shred.
Sometimes the drums
come in from over the hills.
Or barefoot from the next room.
Think haunting cello and chiming guitar.
Think naked voices laying down in a bed of keyboards.
Think five people trusting a song
and using it to climb into the sky.
AirLands makes songs that are both
about what a person knows,
and what a person doesn’t know,
trusting the songs to hold the space,
and do the work and the witnessing.

AirLands plays monthly in Minneapolis and is developing a loyal and surging fan base. The band is looking to spread wings regionally, as well as spread the workload out to a regional management and touring team. We are very, very grateful to be able to share our music. Thank you kindly and we look forward to hearing from you.
